Germany - Magdeburg to Minden

This is the burial site of Otto the Great and his wife. The Magdeburg Cathedral survived the looting and destruction following the Protestant Reformation, was repurposed during the Napoleonic Wars and heavily damaged during World War II but each time it has been rebuilt.
